A collection of attributed recipes to benefit the St. Paul's Parish Church of Hopkinton, some twenty-five miles west of Boston in Massachusetts. St. Paul's Episcopal church was established in 1745, by Rev. Roger Price, Rector of King's Chapel, Boston. The recipes are in narrative form, and include some unusual offerings, including Eggs a'la Goldenrod, Cucumber Fritters, and Shreaded Wheat Oysters. Offsetting to endpapers from clippings laid-in (now removed); Stain to top edge and margins of many leaves. In light brown cloth with titles printed in black and a Confucius quote to cover.
