Rabelais is proud to join our East End neighbors in celebrating the Winter Solstice season with holiday cheer. All day Saturday there will be lights, sweets, warm beverages, festive decorations, art and music. The neighborhood is overflowing with gift ideas for the holidays and Saturday will be a great day to pick some up for your loved ones. Just think about the options: you've got Dean's Sweets; Eli Phant; Knitwit; Angela Adams and Ferdinand for shopping. Then there is the art at More, Field, Running with Scissors, Laura Fuller Design, The Arm Factory Screen Printing Co-op and this is the weekend of the MECA/SEA sale and Romasco studios is having an open house/Art sale. There are also tasty treats to be had at Duckfat, Northstar Café, The Blue Spoon, Bar Lola and Rosemont Market. Spend the day shopping and looking at art, then end it with a lovely meal.

Rabelais will be holding a raffle for a copy of A Day at El Bulli, the new book by Ferran Adria. Raffle tickets will be available at most stores on the stroll, visit five businesses and get your ticket stamped, then drop it at the location of your choice and be entered to win a gift. We will draw a ticket on Sunday and either call or email the winner for their copy of A Day at El Bulli
