The first cookbook from the famous French-British Roux brothers, whose Le Gavroche was the first restaurant in the UK to be awarded a Michelin star, and later, the first to be awarded three stars (1982). Albert, the older brother, trained Gordon Ramsey, Marco Pierre White, Pierre Koffmann, and Sat Bains, among others. The restaurant was a favorite of Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother.
