Small octavo, 54 pages. FIRST EDITION. A lovely small book on breakfast cookery, with sections on beverages including coffee, omelets, and toasts (oyster toast). From the series of single-subject books published by Frederick Stokes. Murrey was the caterer of New York's Astor House and Philadelphia's Continental Hotel. Large ink mark to free front endpaper, "1 cent". In soiled and bumped publisher's green cloth, with color decorated paper boards; with the bookplate of the Athens Library of Athens, PA, and with other exlibris marks, including spine lettering and removed circulation sheet in rear.
