The author, John Henry Clarke (1853-1931) was a prominent British homeopath, fellow fo the british Homeopathic Society, Extraordinary Member of the Royal Medical Society, and a militant anti-Semite. Original burgundy cloth, blind-ruled and gilt-titled. Small abrasion to the bottom edge of the front panel, otherwise fine.
