Two typed letters signed, dated February 10 and April 6, 1979
Cambridge, Mass. 1979.
Two typed letters, each signed (23 x 15 cm.), [1] and [2] pages each, typed rectos only. Both on Ecole des Trois Gourmandes stationery, and each signed by Julia Child in black ink. The correspondence concerns Julia's response to Llewellyn Howland III's request for a contribution to Boston's Birthday Book. In the first letter she reluctantly agrees, citing the demands of her schedule. The second letter has her more engaged and reacting to the plans for the book and suggesting a few of her own. Attached to the second letter is a copy of Howland's "welcome" letter to the project. Also included is a re-addressed envelope. Fine.
Price: $500.00
