A collection of recipes for "Chinese Breads", so-called not because they were of Chinese culinary origin, but because the baked goods were baked and sold in shops owned by Chinese immigrants to Mexico. The recipes indicate that these small bakeries sold more than breads, with a range of cakes, pies, and sweets. From the popular and prolific Mexican cookbook author, Josefina Velazquez de Leon. By the late 1980s, she had released one hundred forty titles. Some age-toning to text block, otherwise clean and sound. Blueish gray wrapper, bordered in red and titled and decorated in brown.
