An interesting cookbook in that it contains specific information about the distinctions, advantages and disadvantages of various pieces of earthenware, including casseroles, chafing dishes, blazers, marmites etc. With illustrations of the appropriate earthenware (more varied than one might expect) for numerous recipes. Clean and sound internally, expect for the endpapers, with multiple ink ownership inscriptions. In publisher's olive drab cloth, titled on the spine and the front panel in black. Very good.
