The editor, Tislet Temple, remains a mystery to this cataloguer. Sections include: Flowers, Children's Hour, The Kitchen, Correspondence, and more. Much of the content is in the form of letters, telling stories, asking questions, offering products. Light water stain to the bottom edge; chip to top edge of rear wrapper panel. Near very good. Ownership inscription on the wrapper front panel, "Miss Agnes A. Merriam, New Salem, April 16th, 1890, West Street". Rare. [OCLC locates no copies of this issue, and just one copy (AAS) of vol. 3, no. 2, (January 1891); a run of three additional issues were sold by bookseller Peter Masi in 2016].
