A later printing of the first true American children's cookbook, written as the story of Aunt Jane teaching cooking classes for six girls with narrative recipes included throughout. Features two hundred seven recipes, mostly for sweets. In publisher's gilt-titled olive colored cloth; text block age-toned, and with a bit of spotting to endpapers, otherwise fine.
