A short history of Delmonico's, America's first fine dining restaurant, founded in 1827; it's been called "the genesis of American fine dining cuisine (Wikipedia). Henry Collins Brown (1862-1961), the editor of Valentine's Manual, wrote a number of books about the history of New York City and its buildings, and the founder of the Museum of the City of New York. Clean and sound, in printed gray wrapper. Some light chipping to edges of wrapper, and light wear to spine.
