A guide to the poisonous and toxic plants of Hawaii, with attention given to Oleander, Castor Bean Jimson Weed, Plant, Datura, Poinsettia, Apple of Sodom, Strychnine Tree and others. There is also a section on Mushroom-like Fungi. A Comprehensive Plant List contains short descriptions of a much longer list of plants. The book grew out of an article by the author originally published in the Queen's Hospital Bulletin in 1931. In publisher's paper-covered boards, decorated in green and brown, over one-quarter green cloth. Some rubbing to edges, otherwise fine. The first edition is scarce in the marketplace.
