Co. of Texas. ~ Internally browned throughout, which is sadly par for the course for this work under all of its titles; not as brittle as most copies. In black-decorated and titled gray oil cloth darkened from smoke or soot, and with the spine exhibiting that reptile skin pattern that sometimes afflicts oilcloth. Still, better than just good. [OCLC locates just nine copies of this printing and thirty three copies of all printings under all names; Bitting, page 463, later printing; not in Cagle].
