The author indicates that Elizabeth Craig was the judge for at least some of the contest. The recipes are often attributed, and some include stories of the uses of the various dishes. Blue adhesive tape striking out a copyright statement on the title page verso, otherwise fine in yellow cloth. Fine in publisher's unclipped dust jacket.
