OCLC records date this title as [1930], but the company had changed its name in 1923, after the firm was sold to Harry Hatch, and renamed "Hiram Walker-Goodenham & Worts". The cover title continues, "Compliments of Gooderham & Worts, Toronto, est. 1832". Evident FIRST EDITION. A scarce Canadian vest-pocket cocktail guide and promotional booklet for the Toronto distillers Gooderham & Worts, once the largest distillery in the world. Each cocktail recipe receives a full (though tiny) page, interspersed with advertisements for the individual spirits produced by Goodenham. Includes a section of recipes for mixing drinks in large quantities. Interior lightly soiled and pages a bit wavy; floral decorated endpapers stained. In limp, brown leatherette, blind-and gilt-stamped. Rubbed, and somewhat worn. Good. Scarce. [OCLC locates two copies with similar titling and pagination, and two records with bilingual French and English title, and just 36 pages].
