Slim periodical, each issue bound on cord (25.5 x 17 cm.), 8-24 pages each issue. Illustrated. A juvenile supplement, or "Extra", to Gleanings in Bee Culture, the newsletter of the famous apiarist A.I Root. Contents include simple advice on beekeeping, entertaining stories, moral guidance, letters from readers, and more. Some soiling and edgewear to front panel of first issue; tiny printed sticker with subscriber's name and address to each. Otherwise very good.
