Ifeanyi Menkiti (1940-2019), the Bifran philosopher and poet taught philosophy at Wellesley College, co-edited A Companion to African Philosophy (2006), and published influential views on the African concept of personhood. He purchased the Grolier Poetry Book Shop in 2006 to save it from bankruptcy. Internally fine, in publisher's dark tan wrappers, printed in blue and brown. Wrapper sunned, and with some light soil.
