Tuborg Fabrikkers: Tuborg Beer from Barley to Bottle.

Denmark: Tuborg Breweries, [1923].

Accordion folded booklet in wrappers, octavo-sized (24 x 16.5 cm.), 21 pages. Illustrated. Date from information in introduction. FIRST EDITION. A single accordion-folded sheet extends to reveal text and vibrant color illustrations printed on one side. Back cover has a birds-eye-view illustration of the brewery complex. Tuborg, the Danish brewing company founded in 1873 is today a subsidiary of the Carlsberg Group. This pamphlet gives "a thorough description of Tuborg's plants and of the entire brewing and bottling process from the moment when the barley is received until the finished product leaves the breweries." Detailed cross-section drawings of the Tuborg Breweries illustrate various machines (surface coolers, beer-filters, and atmospheric condensers, for example), plants (brew-house, bottling plant and boiler plant, for example), and processes. Internally very good with color bright. Publisher's gray, black and gold printed and embossed wrappers are chipped at edges and at spine, not effecting text. Overall, good plus. [OCLC locates only one copy, at Penn State; not in Noling].
