The first English language translation of the Memoirs of Georges Melies, produced as part of a Masters dissertation and heretofore unpublished. Larson outlines of the career of the great French illusionist and film director occupies the first 82 pages. The remaining 67 pages is the translation of Melies' memoirs, previously untranslated. An new translation of the memoir, by Jon Spira, was published by Spira in 2018. Bound in black library buckram, titled in gilt on the front board, and, in white ink on the spine. Near fine.
