The first book written independently by Margaret Symonds, daughter of John Addington Symonds, and published in the year of his death. Together with her father, they wrote Our Life in the Swiss Highlands (published in 1892). Foxing to some pages; abrasion mark to free rear endpaper. Original brick-red cloth, decorated and titled in black and gold. Some light spotting, and rubbing to corners. Still very good.
