A well-lubricated tour of Paris in the 1920s, which begins with 'A Cocktail at the Ritz to Start', proceeds to Ciro's for lunch (and drinking, 'Just One Bottle of Wine at the N.Y. Bar', to night clubs, and beyond. Our guide, Basil Woon, is also the author of the famous Cocktail Time in Cuba and "the most entertaining of companions. He knows all the mysteries of the metropolis, the city's whims and curiosities, its hilarious moods and its delightful, easy everyday life." (from the jacket copy). Bright and clean in green cloth. Slight foxing and some tiny edge tears to the attractive dust jacket. Near fine in a near fine dust jacket.
