A popular and long-published New Orleans cookbook, with many attributed recipes. Through at least the fourteenth edition, this book listed Natalie Scott as an author, alongside Caroline Merrick Jones. Scott's name was dropped, and now appears in the Acknowledgments, along with the names of other recipe contributors. Introduction by the early advice columnist Dorothy Dix. Light soiling and rubbing to spine of stiff illustrated wrappers, otherwise near fine.
