The Conservative Club Banquet Tendered to the President of the United States on the Evening of June Twenty-Third, Nineteen Hundred and Eleven, at Infantry Hall in Providence.

Cord-sewn booklet (16 x 13 cm.), [4] pages, in cardstock cover with pasted-on photographic portrait of President Taft. Includes the menu, a "Pre-Prandial" list of speakers, and a brief description of the Club and its officers. Speakers include the President, Rhode Island Governor Aram Pothier, Mayor of Providence Henry Fletcher, U.S. Senators Winthrop Murray Crane, Frank B. Brandegee, and Henry Frederick Lippitt. Herbert Dean, President of the Club acted as Toastmaster. The menu is pleasant enough banquet fare, with Little Neck Clams, Penobscot River Salmon, Broiled Native Squab and more, but the drinks list is more interesting. The evening starts with a Martini and includes a Frozen Tom & Jerry. Very faint tide-line and some soiling to wrappers, otherwise very good.
