Justus von Liebig's Meat Extract was produced in Uruguay and sold worldwide, promising health and vitality. These were issued in various bindings, this copy in black and gold printed red cloth. Internally age-toned throughout; somewhat brittle. Hinges pulling a bit. Red boards soiled, otherwise very good. [OCLC locates eleven copies, only four in the US].
