Originally published under the title, The Lady's Receipt Book, (1847), and enlarged under the title Miss Leslie's Ladies' New Receipt Book in 1850. Recipes clearly written in narrative style. Internally quite fresh and clean; recipes and ownership notes in pencil and ink to front endpapers; lacking rear free end paper. In gilt-decorated brown cloth with blind- and gilt-stamped decoration; front hinge separating, and some minor edgewear to boards. Good only.
