One of the small handful of grand American restaurant cookbooks from the celebrity chefs of the end of the 19th Century, alongside Ranhofer's Epicurean. Internally sound and clean, hinges reinforced, but tight. In edgeworn, brown-printed, white oilcloth binding. Good.
