A lithographed menu template (20 x 10.5 cm) with hand color, designed by noted French engraver Charles-Emile Carlège. The unused menu template depicts a simple table setting with all the accessories-candlesticks, oil and vinegar, saltcellar, coffee grinder, and more - all anthropomorphized. I expect the dish to run away with the spoon at any moment. Signed by the artist in the lithograph, in the hem of the tablecloth. Very slight bumping to corners, otherwise fine.
