Illustrated throughout in black and white and in color. The first grouping of nine plates consists of very handsomely printed labels, using various printing techniques, tipped-onto a card back which is printed with a legend for the images. Text in German. The second issue, dedicated to tobacco and liquor advertising, of the pioneering German graphic design magazine. Contains illustrations of hundreds of tobacco and spirits labels, many full color, plus plates with tipped-in original labels. A bit of offsetting from the thick stock backing of the plates; some creasing and edge wear to wrappers, otherwise very good.
