Author and collector Pennell has gathered a discursive description and bibliography of her collection, featuring cookery books dating from the 15th to the late 18th century. Quarter-cloth over marbled boards with very minor rubbing to edges. Title label in paper on spine, some spotting on spine. Deckled edges with some uncut leaves, fine condition. Duplicate title label affixed to end paper. In green slipcase with some chipping and wear.
