Isnard's work remains the most detailed study of viticulture in Algeria - a full exploration of the geography and history of winemaking in a nation that provided something of a haven during the phylloxera blight. with the small exlibris stamps – and "Annule" of the Fondation Theirs to wrappers and a few pages. Pages brittle throughout, with some edge chipping to many pages. In original publisher's wrappers, creased at spine, but complete and not unattractive. Scarce.
