Octavo, 4 ads, 511 pages. Styled the thirty first edition, but Cagle's work would indicate it is the Third Edition, seventh printing. Originally issued in 1837. The third cookery title from this Pennsylvania woman, one of the earliest of American cookbook authors. Internally near very good, with some soiling throughout. Professionally rebacked, in brown calf, with original boards, and a new gilt-titled and ruled black spine label. Handsome and sound. [other edition: Cagle 454-458].
