London/New York: Macmillan & Co Ltd./St. Martin's Press, 1963.
Octavo, 125 pages. FIRST EDITION, American issue, with the St. Martin's sticker added to the foot of the dust jacket. The author has "collated all Pepy's allusions to alcohol, to Possets and Syllabubs, Cellerage and Cooperage". Very good in publisher's red cloth, in a near very good, lightly spine faded dust jacket with a few older tape repairs to the corners. Still attractive, and with the ownership signature and shelf number of a Boston food historian.
