Pawtucket, RI: Eastern Advertising Co., Mfrs. [undated, after 1892]. Hand-fan (29 x 20.5 cm.). Illustrated. A functional advertising piece promoting the George W. Smith & Son Confectionery and Cracker Company. Established in Hanover, New Hampshire in 1815 and relocated to White River Junction, Vermont in 1871, the company was renowned for their “Hanover” crackers and large confectionery business. The paper fan, illustrated in black and white with a pastoral scene.....
