This January and February, we're busy moving Rabelais from the shop in Portland to a new larger office space in Biddeford, Maine, a dozen miles away. Octavo, 128 pages. First edition. A collection of poetry, by the Pulitzer prize winning writer, poet and professor. Coffin was a native of Brunswick, ME. Lightly foxed, otherwise near fine in publisher's green cloth, with a price clipped, but otherwise very good dust jacket. Inscribed by the author, "With best wishes, Robert Tristam P. Coffin," and with an ink drawing of a seabird over waves, with Coffin's additional signature, "RPTC.".
