Duodecimo, 117 pages. Facsimile of the 1672 London printing of one of the first extensive descriptions of the natural history of New England, with notes and descriptions of herbs and their uses. It is worth noting that Josselyn's travels studies were undertaken while he was living in southern Maine. Previous owner's name on front free end paper, otherwise very good in publisher's printed wrappers.
